As of Fall 2021, Aerotique now offers full teen programming! Anyone between 10 and 14 years old should start off in our Teen Gliders, and upon graduating Risers will be ready to join Level 1 Teen programming.

This is where all new students, ages 10 years + begin.
Aerotique Gliders is designed for the teen who loves to climb, soon, flip, balance, and challenge themselves in fun and unique ways. This class combines everything aerial and acrobatic. During class, teens will have the chance to participate on aerial silks, trapeze, aerial hoop and even learn basic acrobatics. Class will be designed to progress through fundamental aerial concepts and introduce your child to the world of aerial and circus arts.
The typical student will run through one or two 8 week courses before feeling ready to move on to the next level.

Aerotique Risers is the second progression and expands off of skills learned in the Gliders session. This class combines everything aerial and acrobatic. During class your child will have the chance to participate on aerial silks, trapeze, aerial hoop and even learn basic acrobatics. Class will be designed to progress through fundamental aerial concepts and introduce your child to the world of aerial and circus arts.
Prerequisites: Graduation from Gliders 10+.
Tuesdays: 5:45-6:45PM
This class expands on the poses and techniques learned in our Gliders and Risers courses. Students will learn different mounts as well as wraps, rolls, climbs, and drops specific to the hammock. Students will continue to develop strength and control while working on flow and fluidity of transitions in sequences.
Prerequisites: Graduation from Risers 10+ or instructor permission.

This class will introduce several ways to mount the hoop, in addition to multiple poses that will allow you to rest and move all around the hoop. We will show new combinations and work on grip training and strength building.

Please note, this is not a true level 1 class. Students MUST graduate our Gliders and Risers courses in order to join this class.
In this class students will continue to grow their skills learned after graduation from the Risers 10+ program. More in depth sequencing, poses inversions and drops will be covered.

Students will continue to expand on the skills learned in previous levels, working on endurance, form, and control, while practicing moves on both sides. After warming up, the class will feature conditioning on the silks, old and new climbs, and a sequence of moves and transitions.

Come try this exciting and challenging aerial apparatus. This class is on the static trapeze bar where skills covered will be lower to the ground and designed to build strength and confidence.
Prerequisites: Graduation from Risers 10+ program or instructor permission.

In this teenage flexibility class we will use a combination of yoga, breath-work, and active stretches targeting specific areas of the body in an effort to increase our flexibility and body awareness. Some props may be used to assist and deepen stretches. This is a class for everyone regardless of flexibility level.
Prerequisites: None. Teens do not need to take a Gliders or Risers course before taking this class.
Disclaimer: This is not an aerial class, but the skills and gains made in this class will be useful throughout your aerial journey!

Does your child want to take the skills they’ve learned in class and just dance? Join us for a class to learn a small choreography set to music. Use the apparatus in creative and new ways and explore a new perspective. Apparatus are rotated on a weekly basis. Use the ‘recurring reservation’ when signing up for your child to be automatically enrolled each week!
